About Zoe
As a former professional athlete, softball coach of 12+ years, challenge-seeker, and clinical counsellor, I strive to integrate my knowledge and passions to support people working through difficult life phases of challenge and change. In my work I cover supporting people with sport and high-level performance demands and pressures, emotionally challenging experiences and conflicts including relationship struggles and self-esteem, and healing internal wounds that can show up and disrupt our beautiful outer worlds we know we are meant to thrive in. I aim to help people on their journey of becoming a more empowered, confident, and compassionate-self.
I help driven-minded, broken-hearted, highly accomplished, and sometimes lost individuals meet and thrive in compassion, confidence, and courage.
I specialize in supporting people in high-pressure environments, navigating the highs and lows of competitive sport, and confronting the fears and insecurities that keep us unfulfilled or stagnant. I believe in the power of resiliency and mental strength to perform under stress, remain composed through life's surprises, and the ability to tackle challenges thrown your way with grace and compassion. As strong and adequate as we all may be, pursuits and challenges don't have to be conquered alone. Through rich and deep life experiences and my education in mental health and performance, I'm a firm believer that our capabilities and potential are found and enhanced through having the right support in your corner.
I strive to create a warm, curious, empathic, and empowering environment for individuals seeking counselling or mental performance coaching with me to help explore your inner or outer worlds using person-centered, emotion-focused, dialectical behaviour, positive psychology, and psychodynamic therapeutic modalities. I also incorporate mindset coaching and identity work for those keen to discovering more.
Should any of these words resonate, I invite you to reach out to me, book a consultation, or head straight into a virtual 50-minute session and dive into work that awaits.
